Scot holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance and Sacred Music from Appalachian State University in his hometown of Boone, North Carolina, and a Master of Arts degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He entered full time ministry in 1995 as a concert artist.
For the past 16 years, Scot has traveled across the United States and abroad. He has been a featured guest at Focus on the Family, Chuck Swindoll Ministries, Marketplace Ministries, Glorieta (New Mexico), the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the National Religious Broadcasters Conference, Christian Medical/Dental Society, National Fellowship of Christian Performers, Singapore Bible College, Texas Evangelism Conference, and has been a television guest on Swan's Place and the Dino Show.
Scot, Amanda, and their newborn son, Ian Alexander, now reside in the Houston area and serve on the staff of Sugar Land Baptist Church. |
